I am proud to share the knowledge of my long-established techniques and methods with others and teach them how to use these techniques to express themselves. My workshops are great for creatives, art-lovers and hobbyists that want to bring more colour and beauty into their world and their homes.

Taking place in my beautiful light-filled studio in Cheltenham, workshops can be 1:1 or in small groups of up to 5 and will last 5 hours from 10 am - 3 pm. Groups can arrange private workshops to take place on dates that aren’t listed on the calendar.

Working with non-toxic art grade resin, the day will be suitable for beginners and experienced artists and small groups that are limited to a maximum of 5 people. This ensures great care and guidance can be given to each person.

You will learn the dos and don’ts of working with resin from basic techniques to more advanced processes and additional processes developed by me.

This workshop includes:

  • You will learn how to create beautiful resin art and each participant will produce two paintings as well as learn how to coat pieces of artwork with a clear resin finish.
  • A range of different resin techniques including creating a Geode piece of art
  • Artwork on Birch Ply Board (30cm diameter)
  • Apron and Safety googles to use and keep after the workshop
  • All materials and tools provided

  • 2 artworks to take away with you

Artworks can be collected when dry (usually 24h) from the studio or shipped for a small extra cost.

5 of us attended a Resin Masterclass at Marilyn’s beautiful studio in Cheltenham. The majority of us were not artistically creative at all but all came away with beautiful pieces of art. It was a fun few hours spent with Marilyn who was wonderful, informative and patient and I came away with a picture I love that is hanging on my wall. Thank you Marilyn and I would highly recommend.

I accept bookings on a first come first served basis and by making any booking onto one of my classes you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.

In all of my resin workshops we use non-toxic epoxy resin and provide full PPE (gloves, aprons, etc) for use. If you have a known resin allergy please contact us before booking.

All participants must follow my health & safety instructions. I am not liable for any damages to personal possessions and clothing, illnesses or skin irritations that may occur during the class.

My classes will run at a beginner's pace. I like to be thorough in teaching my students how to use resin and associated products and ensure that they have the best possible grounding for continuing their resin adventures. All of our classes are aimed at resin novices and the look and feel of the resulting pieces made in each class are dependant upon your own colour choice and process.

Our classes are not suitable for children under 16 years old.

Resin and Pouring mediums take time to set, which means that you will be unable to take your work home with you the same day.

All class prices include second class postage of finished work to a UK address. Pieces will be sent to the address you provide me with within one week of the class date. If you are local to me you are more than welcome to collect your artwork  from my studio by arrangement.
